July Update
Happy July JBER Golfers,
We have had a lot of feed back on our new flags. Some good and some negative. Most of the negative feed back we received is because the old flags were color coordinated for front, middle and back of the greens.
We went to all one color to save time and energy on our undermanned maintenance team. They were spending a lot of time in the morning changing out flags every time they did a rotation.
To alleviate the need for different colored flags we adopted a 1,2,3 rotation system that works the same way as multi colored flags. You can find out what rotation we are on from the Cashiers when you check in and the Starters at each Starter Shack. Below is an example for each number.
Hole location #1: Flag will be in the front of #1 green, Middle of #2 green and back of #3 green and will continue the same rotation throughout the course - front, middle, back, front middle, back etc.
Hole location #2: Flag will be in the middle of #1 green, back of #2 green and front of #3 green and will continue the same rotation throughout the course - middle, back, front, middle, back, front etc.
Hole location #3: Flag will be in the back of #1 green, front of #2 green and middle of #3 green and will continue the same rotation throughout course - back, front, middle, back, front, middle etc.
The only time this may change is due to tournaments request to have all flags in the middle or certain yardages for hole in one contest. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we transition to this rotation.
