PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 17 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.  Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. It's a great way to get involved with golf in a competitive team format where they will learn sportsmanship, teamwork and a positive attitude. View the PGAJLG promo video for a fantastic over view on the program.

Player Eligibility

The Moose Run Golf Course PGA Junior League program will cost just $249 for the 2023 season. Players should register as early as possible, but no later than May 23 to ensure delivery of the team jerseys. Use the link at the top of the page for pre-registration. A separate registration will be required by the PGAJLG with a parent's release. The team coach will notify you with that information via email.

Your $99 registration fee on the PGA website will cover the membership, jersey, and team fees for your child. The $150 made in the Pro Shop will include practice balls (during the season), practice and play time, and lesson fees.

PGA Junior League Golf is open to any child 17 & under. The recommended minimum age is 9, however Moose Run GC permits players ages 8-17 to participate. A player cannot be 18 years of age prior to August 1st (which coincides with the end of the regular season) of the year in which they participate. For example, for the 2023 season no participant who turns 18 before August 1st, 2023, will be eligible to participate.

PGA Junior League Golf is open to both boys and girls.

Due to the program's nurturing scramble format, all teammates can work together and contribute to winning their game, regardless of gender. Boys and girls of similar ability play and compete together in any match pairing (boy-and-girl, girl-and-girl, boy-and-boy). There are no separate divisions or tee boxes and yardages to play from.

PGA Junior League Golf is open to youth of any ability. Whether you're a seasoned vet or a new beginner, the program's scramble format creates opportunities to both demonstrate your ability and learn from your peers. At its core, PGA Junior League Golf is recreational and developmental in nature. PGA and LPGA Professionals, who serve exclusively as team Captains, are committed to creating a welcoming experience for all players and their families. Additionally, PGA and LPGA Professionals are uniquely positioned to help young golfers develop their playing ability to whichever extent they desire.
