Joshua Cantrell

Golf Course Manager, Head Golf Professional

Joshua has been a PGA member since 2012. He completed the Professional Golf Management Program at the University of Idaho. While attending college Josh worked at the University Golf Course and interned at Lost Tracks Golf Course under the guidance of former PGA President, Brian Whitcomb. Since 2012, Josh has climbed from 3rd Assistant Golf Professional to Head Golf Professional at The Club at Spurwing in Meridian, Idaho. Josh has been the Golf Course Manager at Moose Run Golf Course for the previous five years. He is also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force as a Munitions Systems Technician from 2000 – 2006. He was born and raised in North Texas and had been living in Idaho since being stationed there. Josh and his wife, Jessica have 2 sons, Conlan & Kingsley. Josh loves to hunt and fish.

Jacob Seabolt

Golf Course Superintendent

Jacob has essentially grown up on the property. He has been here for over 25 years, working his way up from a Laborer to become one of the most knowledgeable and resourceful Superintendents in the entire military system. Jacob's dedication to Moose Run shows every day with the product he turns out and the excellent morale of his staff. We are fortunate the have him on our team! Jacob is a life long Alaskan who enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing and numerous other outdoor activities. When Jacob is not at work you may find him relaxing at the cabin with his family.

Steven Taylor

Assistant Golf Professional

Steven has been with us at Moose Run since May of 2020 in various capacities. He worked as a cart attendant for 2 seasons before becoming a pro shop attendant. In 2023, Steven was accepted into the PGA's Professional Golf Management (PGM) program and was promoted to Assistant Golf Professional. He is currently a Level 1 Associate and will hopefully become a PGA member by the end of the 2025. Steven is a lifelong Alaskan and can usually be found golfing with friends and family when he is not working.

Angela Casteel-Gunn

Food & Beverage Manager

Angela has been working at JBER since 1994. She came to Moose Run in 2011 and has been our F&B Manager ever since. She is from Tennessee and came to Alaska via California in the early 90's. She has a tough task opening the grill and snack shacks every year, hiring staff and then closing everything down at year's end. Angela has definitely shined in her ability to accomplish it and to serve our customers extremely well. In addition, her ability to handle the F&B needs of our busy tournament schedule is no easy task that she handles flawlessly. What a fortunate pleasure it is to have Angela with us!

Jesse Barrows & David Butts

Tournament Coordinators

They are very avid golfers and extremely detail oriented. Jesse and David understand tournaments and the unique needs of each event. We are pleased to have them on staff taking care of this busy and important service. Please email them at or call them with any tournament needs.

BJ Lebeck

Facility Maintenance

BJ has been with us since May 2011. She is from Michigan and is a 20 year Air Force veteran working aircraft maintenance on C-5, C-141 and E-3A aircraft. BJ has proven to be an invaluable member of our team. She takes care of anything and everything related to the care of our facility and more. Recently BJ performed the installation of the GPS system on our fleet of 174 golf carts. She can be seen all over the property handling any task that needs to be accomplished. We are quite fortunate to have her in this position because her efforts save the facility thousands of dollars each year in outside maintenance.
