We are going through several hundred dollars worth of batteries for various reasons. Leaving a key on, keeps the electronics operating and runs down the batteries. The Old Punch Card SKU has been discontinued. Anytime you get a paper punch card at the counter, it should be put into the system and converted to a Smart Card. Let our customers know at the time of purchasing any NEW Smart Cards that all new purchases expire in 3 years from purchase date. This is the new policy adopted by our accounting office and we must abide by it. Any old card or smart card purchased prior to this year does not have an expiration date.

Right now the plan is to open all 18 greens on the Creek Course and 16 out of 18 greens on the Hill Course, Friday morning. Hole 6 and 7 on the Hill won't be ready. The chipping green will remain closed, but the small putting green in front of the clubhouse is planned to be open. This is the latest news.

On 25 May, all non-essential personnel, please avoid the grill room from 1700-1900. There is a retirement ceremony for six people during that time and it is closed to the public until 1900. Thank you.

This is the policy for 2017 WEEKEND & HOLIDAY employee play. ALL Saturday, Sunday and Holiday play will be at the E5-Up/DoD rate, of $22. Employee rates will ONLY apply on weekends and holidays AFTER 1300 (1:00 pm). If you have a punch card, it MAY be used. Weekdays are not affected. Any employees from other courses will be charged full rates plus cart during this time period on weekends and holidays. No exceptions. This same rule applies to our employees at other area courses on the weekends. The weekday reciprocating rate at other courses is $15 plus cart. The same applies to other employees coming to Moose Run GC from area courses to play. This is a change from last year. No walk-ins at employee rate this year on weekends.. Besides our normal hectic schedule of tournaments, the PGA is hosting a Folds of Honor event at Moose Run GC on August 12. FOH assists families of killed and disabled servicemen and women. The event is open to everyone. It will be a 4 person scramble with 1 professional allowed per team (not mandatory).

Maintenance is currently working on putting up our new 40' x 60' tent. It should be up before Memorial Day weekend.

We have 20 new RCA radios this year. All employees working on the course should check one out. The Golf Shop will be on channel 1, Starters and PA on channel 2, Food & Beverage on channel 3. If you need to talk to another department, go to their channel, do your business and go back. What we are trying to do is reduce the noise in the golf shop with all the chatter. Please use the log when signing a radio out and in.

Starting this year, employee PIN numbers for range balls will be $10 for the $75 package. Not free but still a great deal. Individual buckets will be regular price. So if you hit balls, take advantage of this deal. Remember that this privilege is for the use of the employee only. All issued PINS will be logged in the golf shop and only 1 valid PIN will be issued at a time.

Regular Greens on both courses are scheduled to open on Friday, 26 May. Our season rates will go into effect that day.

All employees without handicap stickers are required to park in the back half of the upper lot (past the blue maintenance truck) or in the lower lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

Effective 8 May 2017, all Smart Cards sold in the POS system through our golf shop will have a 3 year expiration date. All Smart Cards sold prior to that date including converted paper punch cards will continue to have no expiration date. Please contact management with any questions..
