USGA RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY
(Except where Local Rules Apply)

Water hazards- Yellow Stakes

Lateral water hazards- Red Stakes

All Asphalt surfaces- Free Drop

Please rake sand bunkers, repair ball marks and replace divots.

All measurements are to the center of the green.

Priority on the course is to foursomes and threesomes

Be ready to play, and play without delay. You are expected to play in 4 ½ hours, or less.

Any group with one or more open holes in front of them, may be asked by the Player's Assistant to move ahead a hole, or allow players to play through.

Groups stopping at the clubhouse between nines, may lose their turn on the tenth tee.

All play is controlled by Golf Shop, Starter and Marshals.

Players without a daily green fee tag will be asked to leave the course.

All carts MUST be kept at least 30 feet from greens.
Please observe the 90 degree rule with motorized carts.
Please repair all ball marks and fill all divots

Local Rules, Etiquette & Policies

Age Policy

Children under the age of 6 years of age will NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE GOLF COURSE AT ANY TIME. They are permitted in the clubhouse and practice areas ONLY under direct supervision of a responsible adult.

Children 6 through 15 will be permitted to play ONLY WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT. It is the responsibility of the adult to insure that children observe all rules of play and are not disturbing or slowing the play of others.

Refund Policy

Refunds may be completed by the following methods (in accordance with ( AFI 34-104. 3.4)

* Cash refunds will be made by the Sales clerk on duty when authorized by the shift supervisor and the presentation of a valid receipt of Payment.

* Any returned merchandise must be accompanied by a receipt within 30 days of purchase.

* Cash refunds should not be permitted for special order merchandise that cannot be readily sold to another customer or returned to the vendor.

* Merchandise returned must be in unused or unopened condition upon return in order to receive a refund.

* Merchandise sold as a clearance item will not be accepted as a return for refund.

* Complete customer identification and signature is required. The amount of the item or service and reason for refund, including reference and original sales slip and the tape whenever possible, are shown on duplicate receipt.

* Customers using a VISA charge card will be provided with a credit on their credit card. Do not provide the customer with a cash refund.

Dress Code Policy

Dress codes for players are posted in the pro shop and the starter shack. Neat clean and presentable, no tank tops swimwear or cutoffs are permitted. No high heels, lugged soled boots or sports cleats are permitted.
Golf shoes or flat-soled shoes are recommended footwear. Bare feet, boots, shoes with heels, cleated shoes such as baseball, football, soccer or track shoes and other footwear judged to be harmful to the greens or practice areas are not permitted. Aside from the prohibition against bare feet, this restriction does not apply to footwear worn in the clubhouse.
Moose Run Golf Course is a “soft spikes only” golf course. This fact should be made known to your tournament players in advance. Players will not be allowed on the course with metal spikes.

Rain Check Policy

Refunds for greens fees are generally not allowed. Extenuating circumstances will be looked at on a case by case basis and the decision will be in the hands of the supervisor on duty. Military recalls, occasional lightening, or unsafe conditions are a valid issues, inclement weather is not.

Nine Hole Round Policy
1. 9 hole rounds may be played at anytime Monday thru Thursday as space allows.

2. 9 hole rounds may be played after 1:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays or within the first 1.5 hours of the first tee time off the back nine.

3. 9 hole rounds are not to be confused with a twilight rate that allows for more than 9 holes of golf after a certain hour (twilight hour) of the day.

4. If a player would like to continue their play after the original 9 holes, they will be charged the difference between the 9 hole rate and the 18 hole rate but only as space allows.
